Clovis Autism & Behavioral Support Solutions (“CABSS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a behavioral health practice providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and families in Clovis, New Mexico. This notice describes how we collect, use, and protect information through this website and during the course of care, and how the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies to the protected health information (PHI) we handle.
Through this website we may collect limited contact and intake information you voluntarily provide, such as a parent or caregiver’s name and a brief description of your concern. This information is used only to begin a conversation about services and to direct you to our secure enrollment portal. We do not request detailed medical, diagnostic, or treatment records through this public website.
Once care begins, clinical records — including assessment data, treatment plans, session notes, and progress information — are created and stored within our secure practice and electronic health record systems. Because our clients are minors, all clinical information is collected and managed with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We use the information we collect to:
As a covered entity under HIPAA, we are required by law to maintain the privacy of your protected health information and to provide you with notice of our legal duties and privacy practices. We may use and disclose PHI for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations without your separate written authorization. Examples include sharing information with other providers involved in your child’s care, submitting claims to insurance, and coordinating services with schools or other authorized parties.
Any other use or disclosure of PHI requires your written authorization, which you may revoke at any time in writing. We will not use or disclose your child’s information for marketing purposes or sell your information without your explicit authorization.
Because our services are provided to children, all protected health information is collected, accessed, and disclosed only with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian. We take additional care to safeguard the records of minor clients, including limiting access to authorized clinical and administrative staff and restricting what is shared through this public website.
This website is built on the Base44 platform, which provides secure hosting and data storage. Information you submit through the public intake form is used only to initiate contact and is not stored as a detailed clinical record on this site. Clinical records are maintained within dedicated, access-controlled systems that meet applicable healthcare security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
